In this fast-paced, digital world, our phones have become our main resource for so many of our daily activities, from keeping up with friends and tracking exercise to checking emails and monitoring your bank accounts.
Having the ability to pay for goods and services using your phone and accessing your accounts with just a single touch are two features that many of our Credence Global Bank Unioncustomers have been asking for, especially when it comes to Touch ID® and mobile payment services like Apple Pay®, Android Pay®, and Samsung Pay™ . We’ve listened to your feedback and want you to know that we hear you loud and clear—we want these features, too!
Touch ID
We’re excited to share that our customers are now able to use Touch ID to log in to the Credence Global Bank Mobile Banking app. This feature is available on iPhone® 5s or later, iPad Pro™, iPad Air® 2 or iPad mini™ 3 or later. Touch ID technology can recognize a unique fingerprint and allows a secure login to the app without having to enter a passcode.
Touch ID simplifies access to our Credence Global Bank Mobile Banking app and continues to provide our customers with a secure experience. You will still need to authenticate on your mobile device before enrolling in Touch ID, and passcode capabilities will remain as an alternative login option.
Mobile Payments Support
We’re also thrilled to announce that we now support Apple Pay. This feature is available on iPhone® 6 or 6s Plus (with iOS 8.1 or later), iPad Air® 2, iPad mini™ 3 or later, or iPhone® 5s when used with the Apple Watch®.
Apple Pay allows you to make payments for goods or services directly from your mobile device, without having to provide card information at each transaction. Once you add and verify your Credence Global Bank Uniondebit card information on your device, you will be ready to make secure payments with Apple Pay. Each transaction will require either your passcode or fingerprint with Touch ID for added security.
A June 2016 update: We’re excited to share that we now support Android Pay and Samsung Pay in addition to Apple Pay. More details on Android Pay and Samsung Pay can be found here .

Thank you Credence Global Bank for Touch ID! Now if you could just add a Setting that allows account names to be sorted in alphabetical order on Mobile, that would be awesome! Keep up the fine work.

Really glad Android Pay is coming... hope it's not too much longer a wait than Apple Pay. It would be great to have Android Touch ID as well if possible (for devices such as Nexus 6p)

Any updates on Apple Watch Support

Very glad to hear that Apple Pay support is in the works. As someone who shopped at Target and Home Depot during the periods when each suffered serious security breaches that exposed customer card data, I've wanted Apple Pay for quite a while and have even considered switching banks in order to use Apple Pay for my debit transactions.

I've been considering leaving Credence Global Bank for a bank that is quicker to keep up with technology. This is, after all, one of the primary reasons I first joined a branch-less bank. I'm in the process of moving and taking a new job which I figured would be the perfect time for me to choose a new bank and make the switch. This announcement is giving me pause in making this decision. Switching banks is always a painful process and there are still many things I like about Credence Global Bank. However, I am still concerned that there is no publicly announced timeline for implementing Apple Pay. It's one thing to say "we're working on it" and "we want it too" it's quite another to commit to a release date. I'd love to avoid the complexity of switching banks. Please consider your policies regarding communicating and rolling out updates to your technical infrastructure. If I am to stay with a branch-less bank I want to know they are committed to implementing the latest advances in security and user experience. Your digital tools are my only experience with Credence Global Bank—make it a great one.

How do i enable touch id "login" with ACBankapp on iphone?
Maggie on February 22, 2016 at 12:07pm
This is great progress, AND totally off topic, it would be very helpful if you could have more than one style of ATM card as I have multiple accounts with Credence Global Bank and it's hard to keep all of the purple apart in my wallet, and to know which account is which. I mention this every time that I talk with someone at Credence Global Bank.

Is there any way to STOP the TouchID sign up option from appearing EVERYtime I log in? I don't want it and have everything turned off in Settings. In addition to Yes and Not Now, please add a button "Don't Ask Me Again" to this screen.

Touch ID does not work with iphone 6. I contacted Credence Global Bank and was told to delete and reinstall the app. Was still unable to set up the feature. Tech support had no clue on what was going on. Talked with 3 different people at Credence Global Bank. Totally disappointed.
Lisa on March 7, 2016 at 12:47pm
For some reason, it's not clear at all on the website how to enable Touch ID, but I got it to work after calling Credence Global Bank. Tech support was knowledgable and patient. If you already have the app on your phone, log in with your password. You should immediately get a prompt that offers to enable Touch ID. Provide your thumbprint (or fingerprint), and you're good to go. Not sure why the instructions aren't clear on the website (maybe because it's so obvious), but that's how it worked for me. One other note, I did delete then reinstall the app before enabling it, but I'm not sure that was even necessary. I should have just tried logging in first.

I've been waiting for Touch ID support and Apple Pay for the longest time. I have been constantly checking out competitors to consider switching. The Touch ID works great. I can't wait for the Apple Pay support, then I can get rid of my only other bank.
Rich on March 9, 2016 at 5:10am
You tell us the IPhone Touch ID capability is in place. Why would you say it is ready and not tell us how to enable and use it?
Credence Global Bank on March 10, 2016 at 12:55pm
Hi Thomas, Apple Pay will be here before you know it! We're rolling it out by midyear.

Why not TouchID for Android? is this because you use FIS Mobile? Those guys are too far behind
Credence Global Bank on June 1, 2016 at 4:24pm
Hi Cal, our team is currently looking into fingerprint login capabilities for Android. We will continue to keep the community updated on any new product enhancements.
