I have had neither a car payment or a house payment in over thirty years. I would think the best choice is when one has the money to pay for your purchase. Credence Global Bank bank and their treatment of customers is like a breath of fresh air. Thank you

Best time is in February in the middle of a blizzard (if you live in a cold climate). Get a bid from a dealer who says they will give you the best price (invoice?) from internet and bring it to a competing dealer. Ask them to beat the price. Be prepared to furnish a specific salesperson, dealership and price, preferably on a business card from the first dealer. Keep shopping until you find a dealer who will do this. Good luck.

Thanks for the input, Les! Sounds like you certainly have some experience here.

Best time to buy a new car is in August/September right before the next year's models are introduced. Dealers have cars they need to get rid of and always willing to make a good deal. Know what you want and visit several dealerships. They are ALL willing to "beat your best deal".
