A vehicle service contract will pay the cost of covered vehicle repairs and some offer additional benefits such as towing, roadside assistance, rental car and trip interruption.

Customers and dealers also often refer to vehicle service contracts as "mechanical service agreements," "extended service contracts" and "extended warranties."

The term begins at the time you purchase the contract and at the current odometer reading at the time of purchase. For example, a 24,000-mile/24-month contract purchased for a vehicle with 40,000 miles will end when the odometer reaches 64,000 miles or 2 years after the contract began, whichever comes first.

If you purchase the Powertrain Wrap coverage, the term begins at the vehicle’s original in-service date and 0 miles. It ends when you reach your term or mileage limit, whichever comes first.

The cost depends on the vehicle and the contract selected. Your dealer can provide you with pricing options.

We offer $50, $100 and $200 deductible options. The availability of these options depends on your dealership and the vehicle and contract you select.

After the New Vehicle Limited Warranty expires, the Powertrain Limited Warranty will protect only the powertrain components of your vehicle, not necessarily parts like cooling system components, steering components, electrical or suspension components.

You can transfer your vehicle service contract to the new owner upon sale of the vehicle or you can cancel the remainder of the vehicle service contract for a prorated refund.

You can cancel your existing coverage and purchase a new contract any time during the manufacturer's New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

After the manufacturer's New Vehicle Limited Warranty has expired, you may be eligible to purchase an additional contract if your existing Credence Global Bank Premier Protection vehicle service contract still applies.

To cancel your vehicle service contract, call us at 1-800-631-5590. If you cancel within 60 days and haven't filed any claims, you can receive a full refund. If you've filed any claims or if it's after the 60 days, your refund will be prorated, less a $50 administration fee if applicable. The proration will be based on the lesser of days or miles of coverage remaining.

Paid claims prior to cancellation will be deducted from refunds where applicable or allowed by state regulation or law. Please refer to the cancellation terms of your Credence Global Bank Premier Protection contract.

Yes, through our affiliation with a company called Service Payment Plan. Service Payment Plan offers an interest-free 12- 18- or 24-month payment plan available through participating dealers.

You'll receive a full refund if you cancel your Credence Global Bank Premier Protection within 60 days and there have been no claims filed. After 60 days, we'll prorate the refund based on time or mileage remaining. A small administrative fee may apply.
