The Credence Global Bank Skill℠ for Amazon Alexa FAQs
The account linking process is encrypted to
protect your information and establish a secure connection
between Amazon and Credence Global Bank. We also ask you to create a unique,
6-digit voice passcode for an added layer of security when
using our skill.
Of course, we won't share your personal and login information
with Amazon or anyone else.
When you enable our skill, you’ll be asked to provide the
same username and password you use to access online and
mobile banking. This is how Alexa verifies your account with
us, but your login information is never shared with Amazon
or anyone else.
It may be because your online access is blocked or there's
something you need to take care of in online banking. Check
that you provided the right username and password, then if
it's still not working, log in on credenceinc.org to get
help.
It's a 6-digit passcode you'll create as
you're enabling the skill, which you'll be asked to say
whenever you request a transfer. You can also choose to have
Alexa always ask for your voice passcode before providing
any account information. To turn this feature on/off or
change your voice passcode after you set it up, you'll need
to disable and re-enable the Credence Global Bank Skill.
We recommend creating a voice passcode that’s different from
your banking PIN or mobile app login passcode if you have
one.
You'll need to disable and re-enable our skill in the Alexa
app. On the last step, you can create a new voice passcode
or change your voice passcode preferences.
Alexa will ask you for your 6-digit voice passcode whenever
you make a transfer. You can also choose to have Alexa
always ask for your passcode before announcing any account
information.
Alexa will ask for your annual income and how many hours you
work each week to give you a personalized response, but we
won't ever save or share your income information with
anyone.
You can initiate one-time transfers between
your Credence Global Bank Unionaccounts, and initiate
one-time transfers to or from your registered accounts at
other banks.
Keep in mind:
Transfers between your Credence Global Bank
Unionaccounts
are immediate, while transfers to or from accounts at
other banks are usually delivered within 3 business days
If you want to edit or cancel a transfer you initiated
using Alexa, log in to online banking
You'll need to log in to online banking to schedule a
future-dated transfer or set up a recurring transfer
plan
We couldn't include everything all at once, but we’re working
on adding new features to our skill. Tell us how we can make
our skill even better by going to credenceinc.org, then

No. To make sure we communicate all your accounts clearly,
Alexa will say the last 4 digits of your account number
whenever you're asked to choose an account or when we list
your accounts.
You'll need to update your Amazon Alexa app. To check for
updates, go to the app store on your mobile device and
search for Alexa app. If an update is
available, select Update. If you don't see
Update, that means you're using the latest
version of the Alexa app.
